Ecolab is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Global FP&A Supply Chain Finance Ops Admin team, based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This role provides financial oversight, analysis, and decision support for senior supply chain leaders, helping manage annual functional spend, strengthen financial controls, and improve visibility to cost, headcount, and operational performance. The Senior Financial Analyst will partner cross-functionally with Global Supply Chain and Finance to support budgeting, forecasting, monthly close, executive reporting, and process improvement initiatives that advance business objectives and disciplined spend management. 

 

Hybrid: Onsite 3 days/week – BA, Argentina 

What You Will Do 

  • Lead finance discussions with multiple VP-level and senior executives to align budgets, forecasts, and investment priorities. 
  • Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages, including forecasts, forecast updates, and executive-level commentary. 
  • Lead the accurate and timely monthly close process, ensuring compliance with SOX and internal audit requirements. 
  • Prepare journal entries and reconcile key accounts, maintaining robust financial controls. 
  • Analyze financial results to identify key business drivers, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations to improve spend control and performance. 
  • Prepare recurring reports on functional spend, employee headcount, and project-level activity to support leadership decision-making. 
  • Provide detailed expense, headcount, and project analysis to support annual budget planning, forecast accuracy, and resource allocation decisions. 
  • Lead ad hoc analysis, special projects, and process improvement initiatives that enhance consistency, efficiency, and financial insight across Supply Chain Finance. 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline. 
  • Minimum 4 years of finance experience. 
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and economic analysis. 
  • Proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, EPM/HFM, financial systems, databases, and ad hoc reporting tools. 
  • Demonstrated supply chain finance, FP&A, or corporate finance experience in a global or matrixed organization. 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights. 
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and process-driven, with a continuous improvement mindset and commitment to strong financial controls. 
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey financial information clearly across all levels of the organization.
