Summary: As a Database Administrator, a typical day involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust database systems to support organizational needs. This role includes installing database management systems and developing comprehensive procedures to ensure smooth daily operations. The position requires continuous monitoring and troubleshooting to resolve issues promptly, ensuring optimal database performance and reliability. Collaboration with various teams to align database solutions with business objectives is also a key aspect of the daily routine, fostering an environment of efficiency and innovation.

Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Oversee the implementation of best practices in database management to enhance system stability and security. - Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and improve team capabilities. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure database systems meet evolving business requirements.

Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Basis Administration. - Experience in database installation, configuration, and maintenance. - Strong knowledge of database backup, recovery, and performance tuning. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues efficiently. - Familiarity with database security protocols and compliance standards. - Skilled in scripting and automation to streamline database management tasks.

Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
