Overview

Responsible for defining and managing the lifecycle of data-driven products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and data strategies. Works closely with data scientists, software engineers, digital product managers and analysts to design and deliver data products that enable decision-making, enhance operational efficiency, and create value for the business. Oversees the collection, storage, processing, and governance of data, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance with relevant standards. Develops and executes a data product roadmap for data features, drives the integration of analytics into digital products, and leverages insights to inform business strategies. Examples include data pipelines for reporting, predictive models, and insights dashboards.

Overview

Performs tasks and contributes to processes/project components for the Data Product Management area under moderate supervision, ensuring work is aligned to organizational standards, escalating problems and roadblocks as they occur. Responsible for defining and managing the lifecycle of data-driven products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and data strategies.

Responsibilities

• This job works under moderate supervision to accomplish key tasks for the Data Product Management area, following best practices and techniques in order to meet organizational standards of excellence.

• Organizes data entry and validation tasks to ensure that data is accurately captured and maintained within data products, contributing to overall data quality and reliability.

• Provides support in the development of data products by assisting in the collection and preparation of data, ensuring it is ready for analysis and reporting.

• Applies established data governance practices to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations, helping to maintain the integrity and security of data.

• Keeps accurate records of data processing activities and results, documenting any issues encountered and resolutions applied to support ongoing data management efforts.

• Assists in the testing of data products by conducting quality assurance checks and reporting findings to ensure that products meet established standards before launch.

• Applies deep understanding of area processes to employ area best practices and methods that align with the overall functional and business strategy, supporting team members on solutions, execution and delivery.
