Accountabilities: As a Content Analyst (Data Steward), you will be responsible for maintaining high-quality data standards, improving data governance practices, and ensuring data integrity across products and platforms. You will collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, analyze data quality, and implement processes that support reliable and scalable data management.
- Monitor, validate, cleanse, and enrich data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across products and systems.
- Work with stakeholders to identify critical data elements and establish data quality standards.
- Create and maintain data dictionaries, metadata documentation, and data lineage processes.
- Develop and support data governance policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Monitor data integrity across multiple applications and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Perform data profiling and analysis to detect quality issues and recommend effective solutions.
- Develop and maintain data management tools, dashboards, scorecards, and reporting solutions.
- Collaborate with operations and development teams to integrate data management practices into delivery processes.
- Train users on data management best practices and support adoption of governance procedures.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in data governance initiatives and collaborate with other data professionals to improve enterprise-wide data strategies.
- Collect feedback from internal users and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for product and data improvements.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is a data-focused professional with experience in data management, governance, and quality improvement. You should have strong analytical abilities, knowledge of database concepts, and the ability to collaborate with multiple teams to establish reliable and compliant data practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Data Management, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in data management, data governance, data stewardship, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of data quality, metadata management, data lineage, and governance concepts.
- Familiarity with SQL, data modeling, and database management systems.
- Experience using data profiling and analysis tools.
- 1–2 years of experience working with US healthcare data is preferred.
- Knowledge of data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) tools such as Reltio, Informatica, or similar platforms is a plus.
- Familiarity with Snowflake or cloud-based data platforms is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
