Overview:

We are seeking Automation Test Engineer/SDET within 2-5 years of experience and a strong background in automation testing and programming. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. Experience with Selenium, Java/Python scripting, and familiarity with Playwright tool with JavaScript are highly desirable. Additionally, expertise in framework development is good to have. Experience in testing web applications and SaaS products will be advantageous.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement automation test strategies, plans, and test cases for software applications.

2. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Java/Python scripting languages.

3. Utilize Playwright tool with JavaScript for test automation where applicable.

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test automation opportunities and enhance testing efficiency.

5. Perform functional, regression, and performance testing of web applications.

6. Contribute to the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks.

7. Analyze test results and report defects to the development team with detailed information.

8. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in test automation and share knowledge within the team.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

2. Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or similar role.

3. Strong proficiency in automation testing and test case development.

4. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.

5. Hands-on experience with Selenium for web automation testing.

6. Familiarity with Playwright tool and JavaScript for automation testing is a plus.

7. Experience in framework development for test automation.

8. Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

9. Experience in testing web applications and SaaS products is preferred.
