Role: Senior Assurance Analyst - Business Operations & Enablement - Climate & Infrastructure Capital, Dublin

Location/Office Policy: Molesworth Street, Dublin 2 with Hybrid Working (3 days office based)

Our Climate & Infrastructure Capital segment is central to the delivery of these ambitious targets, investing in large scale renewables and infrastructure projects across Ireland, the UK, Europe and North America.

This is a unique opportunity for experienced individuals to join this high performing, ambitious team, as we build out our international platform and directly contribute to global climate action goals.

You will be required to support performance reporting and risk management across Climate & Infrastructure Capital’s growing portfolio.

Key accountabilities;

  • Manage QA procedures and testing processes, including control effectiveness testing, and maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans, results, and audit reports to support internal and external review.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of the annual Quality Assurance (QA) plan to align with AIB Assurance and Testing Methodology, business priorities, and internal control requirements.
  • Execute QA activities across the team, including file sampling, control testing, and thematic reviews, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and timely completion.
  • Coordinate and lead audit engagements with 2LOD/3LOD, acting as the primary liaison and ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the audit lifecycle.
  • Engage with external auditors, including the Joint Supervisory Team (JST), supporting audit preparation, fieldwork, and follow-up actions.
  • Where issues are identified, ensure appropriate mitigating actions are agreed and tracked through to completion within agreed due dates.
  • Foster strong relationships across the business, particularly with Compliance, Internal Audit, and external auditors, promoting a culture of quality, transparency, and continuous improvement.

What you Will Bring ;

  • Relevant 3rd level qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years banking/financial services experience.
  • Quality assurance or audit experience desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work to challenging deadlines.
