We're looking for a WordPress Developer to own the ongoing maintenance and improvement of our e-commerce store and our corporate website. You'll keep both platforms fast, secure, and reliable, ship new features, fix issues, and work closely with design, marketing, and content teams to bring changes live. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys both day-to-day upkeep and building new functionality.

Responsibilities• Maintain, update, and troubleshoot our WooCommerce e-commerce store and marketing website.

  • Develop and customize themes and plugins to meet business and design requirements.
  • Monitor site performance, optimize page speed, and resolve bugs and downtime issues.
  • Manage updates to WordPress core, themes, and plugins, ensuring compatibility and stability.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices, backups, and recovery procedures.
  • Integrate third-party services and APIs (payment gateways, shipping, CRM, analytics, marketing tools).
  • Collaborate with designers and content teams to implement layouts, landing pages, and campaigns.
  • Ensure responsive, cross-browser, and mobile-friendly experiences.
  • Maintain SEO-friendly, well-structured, and documented code.
  • Set up and manage staging environments, version control, and safe deployment workflows.
  • 2–4 years of professional WordPress development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
  • Hands-on experience with WooCommerce and e-commerce workflows (checkout, payments, orders, inventory).
  • Experience building and customizing custom themes and plugins (not just page builders).
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Understanding of website security, performance optimization, and caching.
  • Experience with Git and standard deployment practices.
  • Working knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Solid written and verbal communication in English

Nice to Have• Experience with headless WordPress or modern JS frameworks (React, Vue).

  • Familiarity with SEO principles and tools.
  • Experience with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery) and ACF.
  • Basic server administration and hosting management (cPanel, Nginx/Apache, CDN).
  • UI/UX sensibility and basic design skills.
  • Competitive remuneration package adjusted to proven skills and experience;
  • Excellent working conditions;
  • Exposure to training and professional development capabilities, including the ability to engage in cutting-edge research;
  • Exposure to international clients and collaborators.
