Job Description

QA Automation SDET - Lead :

Location: Gurugram

Experience: 8-10 Years

Mandatory Skills:

Selenium, API Automation (REST Assured), Automation Framework Creation & Development, Basic Build + Deployment & CI/CD Knowledge, Test Case Creation and Execution, Test Design Practices (TDD), Test Reporting & Risk Management, Core Java, JIRA, MS SQL

Key Responsibilities:

• Define enterprise-wide test automation and quality engineering strategy aligned with organizational goals, scalability requirements, and digital transformation initiatives.

• Drive adoption of automation-first and shift-left testing approaches across projects ensuring early defect detection and improved quality.

• Establish standards, governance models, frameworks, and best practices for SDET teams across multiple programs.

• Lead multiple cross-functional teams delivering scalable, high-quality automation solutions across platforms.

• Define, track, and improve KPIs and quality metrics related to automation coverage, defect leakage, and release quality.

• Drive innovation in test automation includes AI/ML-based testing, self-healing frameworks, and advanced analytics.

• Provide strategic leadership, mentoring, and direction to engineering teams fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
