Main Focus:
- To act as the primary bridge between front-office stakeholders and application/technical developers, providing CTRM application functional support, troubleshooting CTRM incidents and gathering/analysis of business requirements. As a CTRM analyst, provide and maintain process and system documentation, clarify business specifications, translating business requirements into functional specifications.
Key Responsabilities and Accountabilities:
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders and other project resources to obtain and document business requirements, both functional and non-functional, through interviews, workshops, and data analysis. Translate these requirements into clear and concise documentation.
- Business Process Analysis: Analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify areas for optimization, streamlining, and automation. Propose innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Applications Support: Provide first and second level support for the Softs US CTRM users, resolving applications processing issues and/or escalating the problems to Level 3 or vendor resources in case he/she is unable to resolve the issue.
- Feasibility Studies: Assess the feasibility of proposed processes/workflows and initiatives by conducting cost-benefit analysis, risk assessments, and impact analysis. Provide valuable insights to support decision-making and project prioritization.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement. Utilize data-driven insights to make informed recommendations.
- Solution Design: Work with the development team to design and create functional specifications, use cases, and user stories that effectively communicate business requirements to technical teams.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to foster collaboration and ensure a shared understanding of project goals and requirements.
- Change Management: Support the implementation of new processes and systems by facilitating change management activities, including training sessions, user acceptance testing (UAT), and user adoption initiatives.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including business requirements, process flows, use cases, and other relevant materials.
- Quality ssurance: Assist in testing efforts to ensure that the final solutions meet the defined business requirements and quality standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and business trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
Project Involvement:
- Actively participates in team meetings, contributes ideas, and supports team plans/decisions for successful project/process implementation.
- Ability to execute assigned tasks
- Communicates progress/status of assigned projects/tasks, anticipates risks and able to recommend solutions to address issues
- Works with available resources to deliver assigned tasks on agreed schedule.
Direction Received:
- General supervision will be given.
- Able to take own initiative to move forward the assigned tasks/projects
Administration and Operations:
- Comply with the established set of work standards
- Incident Management (Logging, Tracking, Communications and Reporting)
- Maintains updated systems/applications documentation
- Coordinates schedules and related tasks with other team members or other IT groups
Key Qualifications/Experiences:
- 3+ years of experience in business process analysis and software quality assurance processes. This includes designing, defining or streamlining work processes, documenting business processes, testing and supporting CTRM applications
- Experience in Commodity Trading and Risk Management (CTRM) systems OR Financial Accounting
- Experience in trading environment or financial accounting
