Responsibilities:
- Serve as a strategic business partner to leadership by translating data into actionable insights and business recommendations.
- Proactively identify growth opportunities, operational inefficiencies, customer behavior trends, and business risks through in-depth data analysis.
- Independently identify and prioritize the most critical business questions without relying solely on stakeholder requests.
- Analyze business performance across key metrics including revenue, conversion, customer acquisition, retention, inventory, operations, and profitability to uncover root causes and opportunities.
- Develop hypotheses, conduct structured analyses, and provide data-driven recommendations that influence business decisions and strategic direction.
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards, reporting frameworks, and performance monitoring tools that enable timely decision-making.
- Partner closely with Product, Commercial, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Customer Experience, and other cross-functional teams to solve business problems through data.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of new initiatives, campaigns, pricing strategies, and operational improvements using quantitative analysis.
- Translate complex analyses into clear, concise, and executive-ready presentations with actionable recommendations.
- Mentor and guide junior analysts by sharing best practices in analytical thinking, business problem solving, and insight generation.
- Continuously improve reporting processes, data quality, and analytical methodologies to strengthen the organization's data-driven decision-making culture.
Requirement & Qualifications:
- Minimum 4–6 years of experience in Business Analytics, Commercial Analytics, Business Intelligence, Strategy, Management Consulting, or similar analytical roles.
- Proven track record of delivering actionable business recommendations that resulted in measurable commercial or operational impact.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect data insights to business strategy and commercial outcomes.
- Able to independently define analytical approaches, identify opportunities, and prioritize business problems with minimal supervision.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and structured problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and BI visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or equivalent.
- Experience working with large datasets and translating complex analyses into clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions through data.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous, and rapidly evolving business environments.
- Experience in e-commerce, marketplace, retail, consumer, luxury, or other high-growth businesses is highly preferred.
- Experience in experimentation (A/B testing), customer analytics, pricing analytics, product analytics, or predictive analytics is a strong advantage
