We’re currently looking for an Electrical Engineer Manager to join our growing team in our Pittsburgh office. What You’ll Do:• Lead the design and development of electrical power distribution and process control systems for municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment facilities.
- Design and specify systems related to pumps, blowers, variable frequency drives (VFDs), SCADA systems, and process control instrumentation.
- Develop detailed electrical engineering designs, construction documents, and technical specifications for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Conduct field investigations to evaluate existing conditions and gather critical information related to proposed system upgrades and improvements.
- Assist clients with troubleshooting electrical and operational issues within existing treatment and pumping systems.
- Provide startup, commissioning, and operational support for newly installed electrical and control systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop efficient, reliable, and maintainable solutions for complex infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal project teams to ensure projects move forward smoothly and successfully.
- Apply sound engineering judgment to solve technical challenges and support critical infrastructure systems that communities depend on every day.
What You'll Need:• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in the detailed design of electrical power distribution and process control systems for municipal and/or industrial water and wastewater treatment facilities.
- Professional Engineering Designation (P.E.)
- Hands-on experience with pumps, blowers, VFDs, SCADA systems, and process control instrumentation.
- Ability to work both in the office and in the field, whether that means investigating existing systems, troubleshooting operational issues, or supporting system startups.
- Ability to balance technical precision with practical, real-world application.
