Job Overview:

We are looking for a capable and motivated System Administrator to maintain, upgrade and manage our software, hardware and networks.

Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users. Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently. As the second IT staff member on our team, you’ll wear lots of hats and gain plenty of valuable experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing users, groups administration, security permissions and group policies inside Active Directory
  • Conduct setup of user accounts in Active directory, including password resets, group memberships or modifications
  • Configuring Microsoft Windows and Office 365 successfully on systems
  • User management and compliancing of user requests for Microsoft Office 365
  • Managing Active Directory DNS and DHCP Server
  • Providing remote support to the users through team viewer, remote desktop or other related software
  • Vendor coordination for hardware and link related issue
  • Providing support for network printers and other peripheral devices
  • Trouble shooting network related problems
  • Managing users, deployment and overall IT infrastructural needs of the organization

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline
  • Professional certification as a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)
  • 5 to 6 years of proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or a similar role
  • Experience in installation, optimization & troubleshooting in Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, 2012 R2 Server etc
  • Mandatory experience in installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Active Directory, DNS and DHCP Server in medium and large windows networks
  • Proven experience in maintaining Active Directory Server, creating and managing users and their policies under different policy groups
  • Substantial knowledge of computer hardware and its diagnostics
  • Experience in handling systems, software, applications and hardware related issues
