Full description

Join a collaborative, high-performing product organization where you will help shape customer experiences through intuitive, scalable technology. As a Vice President in Product Management within Asset & Wealth Management at JPMorgan Chase, you’ll help define product vision and strategy and support the delivery of key capabilities across our platform—contributing to how advisors and clients engage with our digital tools at scale. You’ll operate in an environment that combines the agility of a modern product team with the reach and resources of a global institution.

In this role, you’ll partner closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, data, operations, and stakeholders) to guide discovery, clarify user workflows, and translate customer needs into clear product outcomes. You’ll apply strong product management fundamentals—helping drive planning and prioritization, ensuring delivery quality, and measuring impact to continuously improve the product.

We’re looking for someone who is intellectually curious, grounded in product management best practices, and motivated by continuous improvement—bringing strong problem-solving skills, comfort operating in a dynamic environment, and a forward-leaning approach to using AI-powered tools to accelerate delivery, improve clarity, and elevate team ways of working.

Job responsibilities

  • Translate product vision and strategy into a prioritized roadmap and delivery backlog using Agile practices.
  • Own the backlog for a defined set of platform capabilities and drive end-to-end delivery with business, design, data, and technology partners.
  • Lead discovery to surface pain points, validate assumptions, and define clear requirements and outcomes.
  • Partner with engineering and design to define features, write/refine epics and user stories, and set clear acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritize work using data, customer/advisor feedback, risk considerations, and business impact; communicate trade-offs transparently.
  • Run the team’s Agile cadence (ceremonies, tracking, releases) and maintain strong backlog health and stakeholder updates.
  • Collaborate with architects and technology leadership to assess impact, navigate constraints, and align on target-state solutions.
  • Contribute to multi-year roadmap planning and iterate based on results and learnings.
  • Identify and remove cross-team blockers, drive alignment, and keep delivery on track.
  • Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate documentation, story writing, and feedback synthesis while improving team workflows.
  • Mentor junior product managers and promote a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 7+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, or business analyst experience with a strong analytical background.
  • 2+ years of experience related to portfolio management, order management, or managed accounts implementation within asset management, wealth management or a fintech serving these segments.
  • Demonstrated habit of continuous learning — actively engages with product communities, applies evolving frameworks, and brings external perspectives into team practices.
  • Proficient in Agile tooling (Jira, Confluence) and comfortable working in sprint cadences alongside UX design and engineering.
  • Comfortable operating with incomplete information; able to frame problems, make decisions with imperfect data, and iterate quickly.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams, maintain momentum, and deliver against commitments.
  • Track record of building trusted relationships across product, technology, operations, and business stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex ideas clearly to senior leadership.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience with order management systems and workflows (e.g., order aggregation, trade routing) and their integration with investment platforms
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering techniques and experience integrating AI-assisted workflows into product or knowledge management processes.
  • Formal project management experience (PMP, SAFe, or equivalent) in complex, multi-team delivery environments.
  • Experience with tax-loss harvesting, direct indexing, or quantitative portfolio construction.
