Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Laravel Developer to support the development and scaling of a robust web application. This is a freelance engagement suited for an experienced developer who thrives in collaborative environments and has a strong command of Laravel-based architectures.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in building and enhancing a scalable web platform, working closely with an existing development team on a large, complex product.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the Laravel framework.
- Collaborate with an existing team of developers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality features.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable backend code following best practices.
- Build and optimize APIs and integrate third-party services.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance application performance.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes.
- Ensure security, data protection, and scalability across the application.
- Support ongoing improvements and feature development for a large-scale platform.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional experience in backend or full-stack development.
- Strong expertise in Laravel and PHP (core requirement).
- Solid understanding of web application architecture and RESTful API development.
- Experience working in team-based development environments on large-scale applications.
- Proficiency in frontend technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, CSS) is a plus.
- Familiarity with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex development challenges.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a remote team setting.
