Description
We are looking for a motivated Graduate Business Analyst to join our Business Transformation team and play a key role in supporting the development and optimisation of our business systems and processes. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience working across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial and IT functions while developing valuable skills in ERP systems, business analysis, data management and digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements throughout the ERP system lifecycle.
- Supporting the administration and continuous improvement of ERP, PMO platforms, reporting tools and other core business systems.
- Mapping business processes and helping translate them into efficient system workflows.
- Producing clear business documentation, including process maps, functional specifications and user requirements.
- Supporting data integration across ERP and connected systems such as PLM, MES, WMS, HR and reporting platforms.
- Working closely with Engineering, Operations, IT and business stakeholders to deliver successful projects.
- Assisting with ERP configuration, testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system optimisation.
- Creating reports, dashboards and data analysis to support business performance.
- Supporting the management of Bills of Materials (BoMs), product structures and associated business data.
- Assisting with data migration, validation and maintaining data integrity.
- Helping identify opportunities to improve business processes and system performance.
- Producing user guides and training materials to support successful system adoption.
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives while developing your business analysis skills.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- A degree (or be expecting to graduate) in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Manufacturing or a related discipline.
- An interest in business systems, ERP and digital transformation (knowledge of Epicor ERP and PLM systems would be an advantage).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies and business systems.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- An understanding of the importance of data accuracy and process compliance.
- A structured, solution-focused approach with a desire to continuously improve.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across different teams.
- The flexibility to travel occasionally within the UK and internationally when required.
