This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Pessoa Desenvolvedora Back-end Java Especialista based in Germany.

This is a specialist backend engineering opportunity focused on building secure, scalable, and highly reliable digital solutions.You will work extensively with Java, Spring, microservices, cloud technologies, and event-driven architectures.A key focus of the role is identity and access management, including authentication, authorization, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, and SSO.You will contribute across the full software lifecycle, from development and testing to production monitoring and continuous improvement.The role also involves providing technical guidance, supporting architectural decisions, and helping development teams deliver high-quality solutions.You will work in an agile, collaborative environment where knowledge sharing, innovation, and engineering excellence are strongly valued.

Accountabilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality backend applications and services using Java, following project requirements and established engineering standards.

• Design and implement scalable, efficient, and maintainable solutions based on microservices and distributed systems.

• Develop and manage authentication, authorization, and Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions using OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, and related identity standards.

• Design and implement secure integrations involving Identity Providers (IdPs), Resource Servers, Authorization Servers, and OAuth2 clients.

• Work with technologies such as Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Authorization Server, Keycloak, Azure AD, and Auth0.

• Implement access-control strategies using RBAC and ABAC, including authorization policies, scopes, claims, and secure REST endpoints.

• Integrate applications with corporate identity directories such as LDAP and Active Directory.

• Develop event-driven solutions using Kafka and messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ and MemoryStore.

• Work with databases including Sybase, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, and BigQuery, applying appropriate data-access and persistence practices.

• Build, test, document, deploy, and monitor software throughout its complete lifecycle, identifying and resolving production issues when required.

• Create unit and integration tests and maintain appropriate code quality and coverage in line with technical standards.

• Work with CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, containers, version control, and modern DevOps practices.

• Monitor production environments using tools such as Dynatrace and Kibana, proactively identifying performance, reliability, and operational issues.

• Research and adopt relevant technologies and engineering practices to improve application performance, security, scalability, and development efficiency.

• Provide technical guidance and support to other developers, contributing to the delivery of high-quality solutions.

• Participate actively in agile ceremonies, including Scrum and Kanban practices, and collaborate with squad members to understand and resolve complex problems.

• Support periodic technical audits by providing the required information and evidence.

• Participate in onboarding new team members and share knowledge about technical processes, standards, and delivery practices.

Requirements:

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is desirable.

• Strong senior-level experience with Java backend development and distributed systems.

• Advanced knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Batch, Camel, Dataflow, JPA, Hibernate, and JUnit.

• Deep expertise in authentication, authorization, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, and SSO.

• Hands-on experience with identity and access management platforms such as Keycloak, Azure AD, Auth0, or Spring Authorization Server.

• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven architectures, particularly Kafka.

• Experience implementing secure authorization models such as RBAC and ABAC, including roles, attributes, scopes, policies, and claims.

• Experience integrating systems with LDAP, Active Directory, and other corporate identity solutions.

• Solid database experience with technologies such as Sybase, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or BigQuery.

• Experience developing and integrating APIs, including platforms such as CA API and Apigee.

• Experience with Git/GitFlow, CI/CD, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and cloud environments.

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is desirable.

• Familiarity with messaging and caching technologies such as RabbitMQ and MemoryStore.

• Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and Kibana.

• Knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and Jira, with experience working in agile squads.

• Strong understanding of software quality, testing, code coverage, maintainability, and secure development practices.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the autonomy to investigate complex technical issues.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to share technical knowledge and guide other professionals.

• A continuous-learning mindset and willingness to evaluate new technologies and engineering approaches.
