Your Role

As a Senior Software Engineer at PALO IT, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-quality backend systems that support the delivery of innovative digital solutions.

 

• Design and develop scalable backend solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.

• Implement, test, and maintain RESTful APIs and ensure their performance, scalability, and security.

• Employ agile methodologies, participating in sprint ceremonies and code reviews to maintain code quality.

• Collaborate with solution architects and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing through workshops, presentations, and community initiatives.

• Continuously improve software development processes by identifying areas for optimization and implementing automation where appropriate.

 

Who You Are

 

• +6 years of professional experience in software development with a strong focus on backend technologies.

• Proficient in Java (8+), Spring Boot, RESTful API design, JPA, and microservices architecture.

• Hands-on experience with databases (SQL: PostgreSQL, MySQL; NoSQL: MongoDB) and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.

• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

• Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish, enabling effective collaboration in diverse teams.
