Job Description

Job Title: Data Migration Engineer – Entry Level

Location: Stevens Point, WI - Corporate Office  

*May include remote opportunities in the following states: AZ, FL, IL, IN, KS, MI, MN, PA, TN, TX, UT, WA, WI. No relocation assistance is provided.  

Starting Salary: $65,544.18 - $72,098.60 (Salary commensurate with experience)

What you’ll do:

  • Design, develop, and maintain software solutions that migrate data from external software into Skyward software
  • Analyze and interpret data from third-party software systems
  • Conduct code reviews and support high-quality development practices
  • Perform testing, including project and regression testing
  • Collaborate with team members to continuously improve products and processes
  • Collaborate directly with customers and other Skyward departments to ensure success of each data migration

What you need:   

  • Associate degree, bachelor's degree, or similar programming experience   
  • Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills  
  • Experience in data analysis is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Visual Studio IDE and Microsoft .NET/MS SQL stack is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Customer-focused, collaborative, and self-motivated approach
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time as business needs require
