This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Manager - Safety based in Canada.

The Senior Product Manager - Safety will play a strategic role in shaping innovative solutions that improve how organizations manage critical safety information within the Life Sciences industry. This position focuses on building enterprise-level products that support the monitoring, processing, and reporting of safety-related data for healthcare products. The role combines customer collaboration, product strategy, and technical leadership to transform complex business challenges into scalable solutions. Working closely with engineering teams, industry specialists, and customers, this professional will define product roadmaps, prioritize impactful initiatives, and drive successful adoption. Accountabilities: The Senior Product Manager - Safety will be responsible for defining product direction, translating customer needs into effective solutions, and guiding the evolution of enterprise software products. This role requires strong strategic thinking, collaboration, and the ability to balance business priorities with customer outcomes.

  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, industry challenges, and market trends within Life Sciences and safety management.
  • Define and manage product roadmaps, prioritizing features and initiatives based on strategic goals, customer value, and operational impact.
  • Collaborate closely with product development teams to design, specify, and deliver scalable solutions addressing real-world business challenges.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for assigned product areas, providing guidance and insights to internal teams.
  • Work directly with customers and industry experts to validate requirements, gather feedback, and continuously improve product experiences.
  • Drive product adoption by supporting go-to-market initiatives, measuring solution performance, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyze complex problems and translate business requirements into clear product strategies and actionable development plans.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and alignment across product initiatives.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings strong product management experience, enterprise software expertise, and the ability to operate effectively in agile environments. This professional should be highly collaborative, customer-focused, and comfortable leading product initiatives from strategy through execution.

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably with enterprise software solutions.
  • 7+ years of professional experience working in agile environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience creating product strategies, defining roadmaps, and managing product development processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex business problems and identify effective solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage technical and business audiences.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and passionate about building successful products.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with customers, engineering teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working in the Life Sciences, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology industries.
  • Familiarity with safety, pharmacovigilance, or regulated enterprise software solutions.
  • Experience launching and scaling enterprise SaaS products.
