This person must be able to self-manage, work in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, timely and efficient.

Job responsibilities:

  • Completing quality assurance (QA) review activity in line with documented standards relating to Financial Crime policies:
  • gift & entertainment
  • sponsorships & donations
  • client & third party due diligence
  • sanctions screening

and providing feedback to ensure that standards are maintained.

  • Acting as a first level escalation point for colleagues when they escalate queries, making decisions where applicable, providing responses to such queries, or escalating to senior colleagues where required.
  • Co-ordinating and documenting the second line review of third party (re)approvals; preparing case summaries & risk assessments
  • Completing regular risk-based monitoring, identifying potential issues and making recommendations for follow up activity.
  • Maintaining & analysing financial crime related data & preparing regular MI reporting
  • Supporting on other project work as required

Skills/competencies required :

  • Has hands-on experience in managing Risk and Compliance workflows, Client/Third-Party Due Diligence, Watchlist Screening and Enhance Due Diligence.
  • Has Microsoft Office skills: Intermediate to Advanced Word, basic PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience with data analytics & AI solutions/tools
  • Demonstrable critical thinking and risk-based approach to problem solving
  • Has good writing and proof-reading skills, including the rules of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
