6AM-4PM

 

1.0 ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

1.1 Ensures that all canning personnel receive the proper paperwork prior to the production start up

1.2 Responsible for ensuring that spice room formula is correct

1.3 Conducts chlorine sample tests every four (4) hours

1.4 Conducts testing and records results as required, based on product. This includes, but may not be

limited to:

1.4.1 Salt testing

1.4.2 Head Space testing

1.4.3 Fill Weight testing

1.4.4 Temperature testing

1.4.5 Seam teardown testing

1.4.6 Blending testing

1.4.7 Raw product testing

1.5 Other duties may be assigned.

2.0 SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

2.1 None

3.0 LANGUAGE SKILLS

3.1 Ability to read and write in English.

3.2 Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals.

3.3 Ability to communicate with others orally.

4.0 MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

4.1 Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common

fractions, and decimals.

5.0 REASONING ABILITY

5.1 Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out and interpret instructions furnished in

written, oral, or diagram form.
