Whole Foods Market/Amazon team based of Austin, is actively seeking a seasoned and innovative Product Manager to lead Finance (GL), Inventory and StoreOps. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving the development of financial technology solutions that support our stores, optimize operational processes, and elevate the overall customer experience.

This Team Member will design, develop, and manage activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production, release and end of life. Also serve as the central resource with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality, and marketing as the product(s) move to production and distribution. Involvement lasts throughout all stages of a product’s lifecycle including modification, upgrades, and maintenance of the product or product line.

Key job responsibilities - Leads the build-out of new applications. - Leads and supports General Ledger workstream in Workday Accounting Center, leads and supports DC/Inventory and StoreOps domains. - Articulates and mentors junior team members on application of Product Management concepts, practices, and methodologies. - Owns the translation of business intent, customer needs, and/or technical direction into clear, concise, well-documented business requirements or product backlog for one or more complex applications (or a product family) spanning one or more technical domains. - Bridges conversations between business users and development teams using knowledge of complex business processes and technical integration spanning one or more business domains. - Develops longer-term (12 months or more) product roadmap, ensuring product development plans align with and support stakeholder business and application objectives. - Contributes and actively participates in Product Increment Planning sessions. - Authors BRDs (business requirements docs) and champions higher documentation standards. - Identifies, describes, and continually evaluates end user personas, target users and/or user journeys and aligns solution delivery to their business and quality needs. - Partners with business to develop business case for new or existing solutions with supporting documentation, gain stakeholder support and approval, and acquire necessary resources. - Monitors industry trends, stakeholder satisfaction, usage trends, and related metrics to identify product / process improvement opportunities. - Influences strategic thinking across the organization, ensuring cross-functional and cross-product collaboration and integration. - Designs, segments, and recruits for user testing, A/B testing, E2E testing, interviews, and user surveys and synthesizes outputs to create actionable insights and drive product improvements. - Influences product positioning and marketing communications from a business and user perspective. - Shared understanding of the impacts within systems and business processes cross functional workstreams

About the team FinTech Product — Product Managers who oversee transactional accounting and financial planning systems. They collaborate with stakeholders, designers, developers, and users to shape product strategy and deliver roadmaps and business requirements in an agile environment.

Basic Qualifications: - 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience - Experience with end to end product delivery - Bachelor's degree or equivalent - Experience defining roadmap strategy and prioritizing deliverables for your team products

Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights - Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units - Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product - Knowledge of accounting principles, processes, and entries - Experience in goods receiving, inventory cycle counts and related auditing and stock control functions - Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience in software development and experience managing full application stacks from the OS up through custom applications - Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems, or experience in computer architecture

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
