Job Description

- The objective is to prepare tenders, conduct evaluations of received bids with internal stakeholders, negotiate with bidders, and finalize/issue contracts and purchase orders.

- The service requires the ability to lead cross functional teams consisting of business end users, contract owners, finance, HSE, legal colleagues in the end-to-end sourcing process.

- Report to the Contract and Procurement Lead Logistics and Drilling & Wells, the Senior Contract Engineer will be responsible for the end-to-end contracting lifecycle covering both Drilling & Wells Services and Marine Logistics & Offshore Support Vessels.

- Ensure the good administration, filing and update of all the documents in SAP, Agora and the SharePoint;

- Develop and implement procurement and contracting strategies supporting offshore drilling and marine operations.

- Recommend fit-for-purpose contracting models that balance operational requirements, cost optimization and risk management.

- Support long-term procurement planning for drilling campaigns and logistics activities.

- Identify opportunities for commercial improvement and value creation.

Qualifications

- Master’s degree in procurement discipline or other equivalent;

- Advanced level in contract writing and negotiation required;

- Good working knowledge of C&P tools (SAP, Ariba, Agora, Sequana) required;

- Professional experience 7-10 years in contracts within the O&G industry;

- Relevant experience in contracting rigs, drilling and wells services, marine logistics services (Platform Supply Vesses, Achor Handling Tug Supply vessels, Tugs and Barges, Marine Agency services, Bunkering and Fuel Supply…) will be strongly preferred

- Personal abilities : Planning, organizing and coordination proven abilities, basic management, project management, problem-solving capacities, rigor, efficient human relationships, result-oriented, ability to work under pressure with limited supervision, ability to work efficiently alone and in teams;

- Knowledge of procurement for drilling/wells required;

- Proficiency in oral and written English;

Additional Information

Place of work (City & country ): Paramaribo, Suriname

Working Schedule: rotational 6/3 (6 weeks on/3 weeks off), based on seven (7) worked days per week, with eight (8) hours of work per day

Starting date:  Q4 2026

Duration of the mission: 24 Months
