Position Summary

Ethic Tech, LLC is seeking a Senior Electronic Security Engineer to design, test, and oversee enterprise physical security and electronic protection systems like access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • System Design: Create engineering plans, schematics, risers, and point lists for Access Control Systems (ACS), Closed-Circuit TV (CCTV) video management, and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS).
  • Integration & Testing: Oversee factory and site acceptance tests, system commissioning, and three-phase quality control inspections.
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure designs comply with industry codes and standards like UL 294, UL 1076, NFPA 731, and Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS).
  • Technical Guidance: Provide mentorship to junior engineers, direct CAD operators, and assist field or help desk personnel with troubleshooting.
  • Cybersecurity Coordination: Align physical security hardware networks and server architecture with broader IT and cybersecurity policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 10+ years working in electronic systems, security engineering, or information technology.
  • An active Professional Engineer (PE) license or manufacturer certifications for leading electronic security platforms.
  • Requires an active U.S. Government Secret clearance and the ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.
