We are seeking an OT Cybersecurity Lead to support one of our Oil & Gas clients on a major OT cybersecurity project. The role involves leading OT cybersecurity assessments, defining security requirements and architecture, coordinating with third parties, and overseeing cybersecurity activities through engineering, integration, testing, and project close-out.
Responsibilities
· Lead the delivery of OT cybersecurity activities across the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with project requirements, applicable standards, and client expectations.
· Lead OT cybersecurity risk assessments, threat modelling, vulnerability assessments, and security controls assessments across ICSS, Electrical, Telecom and relevant third-party OT systems.
· Define and review OT cybersecurity architecture, segmentation, security zones and conduits, firewall requirements, hardening measures, and other applicable security controls.
· Coordinate cybersecurity requirements and technical activities with the system vendors, OEMs, and relevant client stakeholders.
· Lead cybersecurity workshops and technical discussions, ensuring that identified risks, gaps, and remediation requirements are clearly understood and addressed.
· Provide technical oversight of cybersecurity implementation, configuration, integration, and verification activities, including support during FAT/IFAT and SAT/ISAT.
· Review vulnerability and penetration testing activities and ensure that findings are appropriately assessed, remediated, and verified.
· Review and validate key cybersecurity deliverables, reports, technical assessments, and recommendations prior to submission to the client.
Requirements
· 10+ years of relevant cybersecurity experience, with a strong focus on OT/ICS cybersecurity.
· Proven experience in OT cybersecurity risk assessments, threat modelling, vulnerability assessment, and security controls assessment.
· Strong understanding of OT cybersecurity architecture.
· Proven experience delivering cybersecurity projects within the Oil & Gas sector in the Middle East/GCC region, preferably involving brownfield OT environments.
· Demonstrated experience leading technical workshops and coordinating multidisciplinary stakeholders.
· Good knowledge of IEC 62443 and applicable Oil & Gas cybersecurity requirements.
· Relevant OT/ICS and/or cybersecurity certifications.
