Key Responsibilities
Business Growth, Product Development & Solutioning
- Drive insurance business growth across assigned Corporate & SME verticals through improvement in penetration, premium generation, insurance income, renewals, profitability, and portfolio performance.
- Design and launch industry-specific insurance solutions by collaborating with insurance partners and internal stakeholders, from concept and approvals to sales enablement and business rollout.
- Identify growth opportunities, create business proposals, secure stakeholder alignment, and drive implementation of new initiatives across Corporate & SME segments.
- Evaluate insurer propositions and recommend the most suitable insurance solutions based on customer needs, commercial attractiveness, service standards, and business objectives.
Sales Enablement & Business Partnership
- Act as a trusted insurance partner to sales teams by providing product expertise, resolving business challenges, conducting trainings, and driving insurance adoption.
- Support sales teams on customer requirements, underwriting, pricing, servicing, and business closure-related challenges.
- Build strong field relationships through regular field visits, business reviews, trainings, and stakeholder engagement to drive insurance adoption
Operations Excellence & Partner Management
- Own and drive timely resolution of operational and servicing escalations while ensuring adherence to defined TATs and service standards.
- Work closely with insurance partners and internal teams to improve service delivery, resolve business challenges, and enhance customer experience.
- Build and manage strong relationships with insurance partners for business growth, product enhancements, service improvements, training initiatives, and grievance handling.
- Anchor periodic business reviews with insurance partners and internal stakeholders to strengthen collaboration and business outcomes.
Contest & Engagement Management
- Conceptualize and execute sales contests, engagement programs, and business campaigns aligned to organizational objectives and approved budgets.
- Coordinate with Business, Finance, HR, Marketing, and vendors to manage approvals, launch communications, participant engagement, reward fulfillment, and event execution.
- Drive participation through regular dashboards and business reviews while ensuring timely declaration of results and closure.
Financial Management, Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor premium generation, insurance income, profitability, commissions, payouts, and portfolio performance to drive sustainable business growth.
- Support timely reconciliation of insurance income and payouts in collaboration with Finance, Operations, and insurance partners.
- Ensure timely dissemination of business reports, dashboards, reviews, and management presentations through effective coordination with MIS teams.
- Monitor key business metrics and provide actionable insights to support business planning and decision-making.
Stakeholder Management & Governance
- Collaborate effectively with Sales, Operations, Finance, Marketing, Customer Service, Legal, Compliance, MIS teams, and Insurance Partners to ensure seamless execution of business initiatives.
- Independently resolve business and operational roadblocks through strong ownership and stakeholder management.
- Ensure compliance with IRDAI regulations, internal governance standards, audit requirements, and applicable regulatory guidelines.
Desired Qualification
- Post-Graduate in any discipline (MBA/PGDM in Insurance, Finance, Marketing, or Business Management preferred).
- Professional qualifications in Insurance or Risk Management will be an added advantage.
