Join our North Sydney team as a Project Contract Manager and play a key role in delivering complex rail digital systems projects. Partnering with project leaders and key stakeholders, you will drive contract and claims strategies, manage commercial risk, and ensure successful project delivery while helping shape the future of mobility.
Your Role, Your Impact
- Provide expert commercial guidance across contract management, claims, variations, EOTs, and risk mitigation
- Lead contract and claims strategies to support successful project delivery and protect commercial outcomes
- Collaborate with project leaders, cross-functional teams, and key suppliers to proactively manage risk and maximise contractual opportunities
- Identify, assess, and manage contractual and commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure strong contract governance, compliance, documentation, and record-keeping practices
- Support contract negotiations, amendments, and dispute avoidance activities
- Drive continuous improvement by introducing best practices and innovative commercial solutions
- Foster knowledge sharing and capability development across project teams
You'll work with sharp, committed teams solving complex challenges that shape the future of mobility, ensuring seamless integration of business and technology.
What You Bring
- Extensive experience in contract and claims management within complex project environments, including commercial risk management, contract administration, variations, EOTs, claims, and dispute avoidance
- Demonstrated ability to build and influence stakeholder relationships at all levels, including customers, project teams, and senior leadership
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to interpret project financials and understand the impact of contract and claims management on project profitability
- Excellent negotiation, influencing, and problem-solving skills
- A collaborative approach, with experience working across multidisciplinary teams
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain robust contract governance and documentation practices
