About the Role
We are seeking a Cloud & Data Operations Engineer to join our growing technology team.
The successful candidate will become part of a multidisciplinary team with strong cloud, data, and application management expertise, supporting critical cloud-based platforms for leading international industrial organizations.
The role involves ensuring the operational stability, performance, and reliability of cloud environments through continuous monitoring, proactive maintenance activities, incident management, and troubleshooting. The engineer will be responsible for identifying potential risks, reducing service disruptions, and responding promptly to issues detected by monitoring systems while contributing to the continuous improvement of cloud solutions and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the health, availability, and performance of cloud platforms and applications.
- Proactively identify and mitigate operational risks to prevent service disruptions.
- Investigate and resolve incidents, anomalies, and system failures across cloud environments.
- Support provisioning, configuration, maintenance, and operations activities on cloud infrastructures.
- Collaborate with development, data, cloud, and AI teams to ensure platform reliability and scalability.
- Contribute to automation initiatives and continuous improvement of operational processes.
- Participate in shift-based support activities when required.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional experience in Cloud Operations, Cloud Engineering, Data Engineering, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience in provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and operational support of cloud environments.
- Practical knowledge of Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident management activities in cloud-based applications and platforms.
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation and DevOps practices, preferably using tools such as Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of software development and scripting, particularly with technologies such as Python, Java, SQL, or JavaScript.
- Exposure to Data Engineering environments, including cloud data platforms, data pipelines, and workflow orchestration.
- Basic understanding of AI/ML operational environments and cloud-native services is considered a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work on shifts.
