Intern ‐ Business Analyst

(Based at MAS Aqua Springs – Pelawatte)

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the Sales Forecast (SF) tracker to ensure accuracy and timely circulation of information across teams.
  • Coordinate with merchandising, planning, and account management teams to gather, validate, and track business data and updates.
  • Support the preparation of business reports, dashboards, and presentations using Excel and Power BI.
  • Assist in monitoring key business metrics, identifying variances, and highlighting significant changes for further analysis.
  • Support ongoing projects, market research activities, and process improvement initiatives within the Corporate Quality and Transformation team.
  • Facilitate the weekly headcount update process and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely completion and validation of information.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Undergraduate or recent graduate in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data analysis, and management of large datasets.
  • Proficiency in Power BI and an interest in business intelligence and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and willing to learn in a fast-paced business environment.
