Python & Generative AI Technical Lead

Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a Python and Generative AI (GenAI) professional with 5+ years of experience in software development and technology delivery. The role will lead cross-functional technology teams, provide technical guidance, drive technology initiatives, and translate business requirements into effective technology solutions. The position will contribute to business objectives by supporting successful project delivery, improving technology processes, evaluating emerging technologies, maintaining technology roadmaps, and ensuring alignment between technology capabilities and overall business strategy.

Software Requirements

Required

• In-depth understanding of various technologies and software systems.

Day-to-Day Activities

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, priorities, constraints, and expected outcomes.

• Lead cross-functional technology teams and provide technical direction.

• Review technical requirements, architecture, designs, implementation plans, testing approaches, and release readiness.

• Support Python software development and GenAI solution delivery.

• Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for adoption.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including planning, refinement, progress reviews, demonstrations, and retrospectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• A minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience is required.

• Equivalent professional experience in software development, technology leadership, solution architecture, or technology delivery may be considered in place of a formal degree.

• Relevant certifications in cloud computing, Agile, Scrum, project management, software architecture, data, machine learning, or GenAI are preferred.

• Security or responsible AI certifications relevant to the role are preferred.

• Completion of Synechron-required training related to information security, data protection, risk management, workplace conduct, and responsible technology use.

• Ongoing professional development in Python, GenAI, software architecture, cloud technologies, security, data management, and Agile delivery.

• Ability to stay current with changes in technology standards, responsible AI practices, and applicable governance requirements.
