Full description

Choosing Capgemini means choosing a company where you will be empowered to shape your career in the way you’d like, where you’ll be supported and inspired by a collaborative community of colleagues around the world, and where you’ll be able to reimagine what’s possible. Join us and help the world’s leading organizations unlock the value of technology and build a more sustainable, more inclusive world.

Your Tasks

•     Data pipelines: design, build and maintain ingestion and transformation pipelines (orchestrated with Airflow) that bring internal vehicle and contract data and external market data into the platform.

•     Data modelling: help shape and evolve the canonical data model in the data hub, with strong attention to data quality, consistency and lineage.

•     Backend and APIs: build and maintain Python services and REST APIs that expose pricing, vehicle, mapping and recommendation data to internal consumers such as the Motortrade platform.

•     Integration: implement and maintain integrations with source and downstream systems, including calling external APIs and handling event-driven data flows.

•     Quality and reliability: write clean, tested and documented code; set up monitoring and data-quality checks; and support the pipelines and services in production.

•     Collaboration: work within the Remarketing Platforms IT team, in close collaboration with the platform product owners, the technical architects, the scrum masters and the Motortrade developers, turning pricing and business logic into robust, maintainable software.

•     Full-stack contribution (a plus): for a full-stack profile, contribute to the Motortrade front end (Angular) where pricing features are surfaced to users.

Your Profile

•     3 to 5 years of professional experience as a Python developer, with a data or backend focus.

•     Strong Python, including data-processing libraries (for example pandas) and building REST APIs (for example FastAPI or Flask).

•     Solid SQL and hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL and/or Oracle).

•     Experience building and orchestrating data pipelines, ideally with Airflow.

•     Comfortable with Git, code review, testing and CI/CD practices.

•     Good understanding of API design and integration between systems.

•     Able to work in English in an international team.

Nice to have

•     Full-stack profile with front-end experience in Angular (a strong plus, given the Motortrade front end).

•     Experience with cloud data infrastructure and containerisation.

•     Exposure to event streaming (for example Kafka).

•     Familiarity with data-quality or observability tooling.

•     Understanding of machine-learning workflows (to collaborate with data scientists), without needing to be a data scientist.

•     Experience in automotive, leasing, pricing or remarketing is a plus, not a requirement
