Here's The Role

LCRA's Project Management team is looking for a motivated individual who enjoys a fast-paced, diverse work environment and is committed to advancing the quality of life for the Texans LCRA serves. For over 90 years, the Lower Colorado River Authority has served Texas by managing the lower Colorado River, producing and delivering wholesale electricity, providing clean water, running telecommunications systems, and owning parks for outdoor recreation. As an Ops & Business Analyst II, you will be responsible for strengthening business process documentation, technical requirement mapping, and cross-team alignment for multiple projects to ensure traceability between business requirements and technical specifications, reducing delivery risk, and supporting the creation of consistent, repeatable processes that improve project outcomes and customer satisfaction. How You’ll Contribute

  • Develop comprehensive business process models and technical requirement documentation for projects across the organization.
  • Standardize and maintain repeatable business analysis processes to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Establish clear traceability between business requirements and technical specifications to reduce gaps, rework, and missed functionality.
  • Create and manage RACI matrices to clarify ownership and accountability.
  • Support strategic alignment, compliance considerations, and operational planning for complex projects.

How You’re Qualified

  • Six or more years' experience in capital planning, decision-making modeling, operations and maintenance planning, financial management, project management and strategic business support or relevant experience.
  • A degree(s) in business, economics, engineering, finance, math, science or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.

How You’ll Stand Out

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Expertise in business process modeling and documentation tools/methodologies.
  • Proficiency in requirements gathering, analysis, and traceability methods.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration across technical and business teams.
  • Skilled in creating RACI charts and defining accountability structures.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
