Job Description
Job Summary
The Senior Business Strategy Analyst will be challenged to identify opportunities and solve business challenges throughout the company. Responsible for quantitative and data analysis to make strategic and tactical recommendations that maximize company profitability. Will regularly work with, and present to company executives. Will be accountable for leading implementation efforts and subsequent monitoring of those recommendations.
Job Duties
- Independently utilize quantitative analysis techniques to assess credit risk exposure; identifies, analyzes, and monitors issues that affect profitability, growth, and productivity.
- Perform modeling/analytics to assist with pricing, servicing, and origination strategies. Summarizes analysis and communicates information to various levels of management
- Develop pricing, servicing, and originations tests and be responsible for testing, monitoring, and profitability impact analysis. Generate ideas to improve current strategies.
- Collaborate with IT and Operations to further enhance system functionality enabling Exeter to better execute strategies.
- Assist with assessment of new process/strategic opportunities and to identify and validate key assumptions.
- Manage individual projects as assigned to ensure quality and accuracy of delivered results. Work with a team of other analytical professionals to support a variety of Auto Finance functions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Work Experience
- College Degree in a quantitative major (Business, Economics, Math/Statistics, Finance, Engineering or similar discipline) or equivalent work experience.
- Four (4)+ years of analytics experience in financial services industry
- Extensive experience performing data analysis and summarizing findings.
- Strong understanding of data sources/warehouses, data mining and data analysis techniques preferably SAS or SQL
Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate including
skill set, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
The pay range for this role is $92,200.00 - $126,800.00 annually.
