Job Description

We are looking for a talented individual…

To join our team! CLEAResult's Strategic Energy Management (SEM) team is expanding, and we have a new opportunity for a Data Analyst to help power the work of our SEM experts across the US and Canada. If you love digging into data, spotting patterns others miss, and building the tools and templates that make a whole program run smoother, this is a great place to make an impact.

As a Data Analyst, you'll be the engine behind the scenes for our Statistical Analysts and SEM program teams across North America, supporting energy modeling, standardizing processes, and keeping our data clean, consistent, and ready to drive real decisions. This role is primarily internally facing and centered on data analysis, with occasional interaction with clients and end-use customers to gather data or answer questions. You'll play a central role in bringing consistency and efficiency to how our SEM teams work internationally, directly supporting the accuracy and quality of the models and reports our program depends on.

Here at CLEAResult, you will fit right in with our energetic team if you are resourceful, resilient, and kind.

In this role, you will…

  • Perform pre- and post-modeling data review and manipulation to support our Statistical Analysts.
  • Manipulate and format production data with precision and consistency.
  • Analyze large data sets to catch errors and ensure accuracy before it moves downstream.
  • Integrate data into statistical software templates.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to build and maintain database files.
  • Partner with program teams across the organization to create and maintain standardized templates for energy modeling and program data.
  • Write clear work instructions for newly developed templates, so others can pick them up with ease.
  • Track, draft, edit, and quality-control final models and reports.
  • Help automate data processing to save time and reduce manual error.
  • Troubleshoot, modify, and build tools using Visual Basic and Excel formulas.
  • Manage and manipulate data in Smartsheet.
  • Support benchmarking reporting and contribute to the development of our digital infrastructure.

For this exciting career opportunity, you're a great fit if you have…

  • Strong data manipulation and formatting skills, with an eye for consistency and detail
  • Experience analyzing large, complex data sets
  • Comfort working with statistical software and templates
  • Proficiency in Visual Basic and advanced Excel formulas
  • Experience with Smartsheet
  • SharePoint experience
  • A collaborative mindset, comfortable working across internal teams and occasionally with external clients and customers
  • Energy industry experience preferred, but not required
