Full description

The primary purpose of this position is to assist TBACU to live out its mission, “To serve our community and build trusted relationships.” A key component of this service is to identify members’ needs and provide appropriate TBACU product solutions which ultimately helps grow the credit union. To adequately and effectively serve members and TBACU team members by providing prompt and accurate financial data and maintaining financial security.

The purpose of this position is to coordinate and support credit union projects from planning through completion by providing structure, clear communication, documentation, and follow-through. This role works collaboratively with leaders and internal teams, and external partners to keep projects organized, aligned with credit union goals, and focused on outcomes that strengthen operations, effectiveness, and member service.

  • Hybrid schedule available, position is not 100% remote, required in office each week.

  • Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Coordinate assigned projects from planning through completion by organizing project details, tracking progress, compiling information, facilitating meetings, and supporting completion within established timelines and expectations.
  • Support project rollouts and implementation efforts by helping clarify objectives, timelines, responsibilities, communication needs, and intended outcomes.
  • Provide clear and timely project updates, confirm next steps, and communicate progress, risks, barriers, and follow-up items with project leaders and participants.
  • Build collaborative relationships with internal teams and external partners to support effective coordination, problem-solving, and successful project implementation.
  • Gather, organize, and maintain project documentation, decisions, timelines, and follow-up items to support accurate records and project continuity.
  • Provide accurate, confidential, and timely project support, including scheduling, documentation, communication, and follow-up.
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to assigned projects, and support compliance throughout project planning and implementation.
  • Protect confidential member, team member, project, vendor, and credit union information in accordance with credit union policies and applicable requirements.
  • Apply project management best practices to define scope, milestones, deliverables, roles, dependencies, and success measures for assigned initiatives.
  • Facilitate cross-functional project discussions to align stakeholders, remove barriers, document decisions, and maintain momentum toward completion.
  • Take ownership of assigned projects by proactively driving next steps, anticipating needs, and moving work forward rather than waiting for direction.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of credit union products.
  • Meet established minimum expectations.
  • Ability to be bonded.
  • Ability to clear credit and criminal history check.
  • Compliance with the U.S Patriot Act and the Credit Union’s Bank Secrecy and OFAC Policies and Procedures.
  • Compliance with the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and the Credit Union’s Information Security program, maintaining the privacy and security of information, systems, and locations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate new vendor onboarding evaluation and existing vendor review processes for leadership.
  • Provide a complete project plan, budget preparation, resource management, time management, written documentation, and risk management aligning with project management processes. Performing cost/benefit analysis when necessary.
  • Monitor project risks, barriers, dependencies, timelines, budget considerations, and resource needs; recommend solutions and escalate concerns when needed to keep projects moving forward.
  • Support project accountability by clarifying decisions, documenting ownership, tracking commitments, and following up on assigned action items.
  • Develop and maintain project dashboards, status reports, meeting agendas, timelines, decision logs, issue logs, and action item trackers to support transparency and accountability.
  • Perform post-project review by gathering feedback, evaluating outcomes, documenting lessons learned, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide ongoing monthly/quarterly statistical updates on the Return on Investment (ROI) and usage after completion.
  • Facilitate change requests so that all stakeholders are informed of the impacts on outcomes, timeline, and budget, and appropriate approvals are confirmed before initiating changes.
  • Administer project management software and collaborate with leaders to develop, maintain, and ensure proper usage.
  • Stay abreast of industry and project management trends by participating in seminars, training sessions, and workshops.
  • Maintain project management pipeline on Intranet site.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, project management, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • Three or more years of project coordination, project management, or related experience with proven results required.
  • Experience coordinating projects from planning through completion, including timelines, documentation, communication, follow-up, and outcome tracking.
  • Experience working collaboratively with leaders, internal teams, vendors, or business partners to support project implementation.
  • Project management, change management, process improvement, or related certification preferred.
  • Financial institution or credit union experience preferred.
  • Experience using project management tools or platforms preferred.
