About Us

Reggio's Treehouse, LLC is a premier provider of Reggio Emilia–inspired child development centers. We are growing rapidly, with multiple locations throughout the DC, VA, and NJ region, and are looking for a Financial Analyst to help support that growth.

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial concepts to support our financial planning and analysis activities.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Planning

Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling to provide insights for decision-making.
Develop financial reports and presentations for senior management.
Collaborate with various departments to analyze financial data and performance.
Assist in budgeting, variance analysis, and strategic planning processes.
Utilize systems and tools for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.

What You Bring

Skills & Experience

Strong knowledge of general and cost accounting, with solid command of GAAP
minimum 3 years of accounting experience required
Proficiency with QuickBooks Online
Comfortable with Microsoft Office, G-Suite, or similar tools
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong strategic planning abilities.
Experience with analytics tools and SQL for data analysis.
Knowledge of governmental accounting principles.
Understanding of corporate finance practices.
Ability to create data visualizations for reporting purposes.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
MBA a plus

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 15 lbs occasionally

Work Arrangement

Remote or hybrid — candidates within commuting distance of DC, VA, or NJ locations preferred for occasional in-office/on-site needs
