What We’re Looking For
JAGGAER is looking for a Java Developer to join one of our Product Development Teams (PDTs) that manage our Procure-To-Pay (P2P) application suite of products. Our PDT’s use AGILE software development principles to build great products that serve the needs of our customer base– gathering and reviewing user requirements, database and application design, coding, testing, installation and maintenance, customer training and product roll out.
The Engineer on the team contributes through technical programming expertise but are an essential part of all team activities. You will collaborate with our other Product Development Teams (working on the same product) to ensure continuity of architecture and design.
Principal Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Engineers with the analysis and design of programming efforts based on Product Team requirements.
- Participate in user story creation and sprint planning activities.
- Develop application code in line with JAGGAER development standards and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews for other team members.
- Work closely with the QA Test Team to support high product quality at delivery.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline.
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience with Java.
- Strong experience with SQL.
- Experience with RDBMS technology, with Oracle experience considered an advantage.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with modern client-side JavaScript frameworks such as Dojo or React.
- Experience with asynchronous request processing.
- Experience with single-page application development.
- Experience with responsive design and container-based layouts, including Flexbox or similar approaches.
- Experience working with JSON.
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
