St. Camillus is actively recruiting for a full time, on site, Computer Systems Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Computer Systems Analyst position helps support the facility by providing day-to-day technical support to its users. Support is provided via phone, email, as well as face-to-face meetings with employees, contractors, and residents. This position reports directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), and specific duties are defined on a regular basis. The position primarily consists of assisting users with the use and troubleshooting of computer hardware and software, including Windows desktop PCs, printers, laptops, and mobile devices. Software experience should include an in-depth understanding of modern Windows systems, knowledge of Microsoft Office, as well as aptitude for resolving web browser issues. Additionally, the position assists in the critical role of coordinating with other departments in the creation and distribution of user accounts for a wide variety of systems.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Communicates with CIO issues, concerns, and problems, as well as progress, routine issues, and upcoming projects.
  • Provides helpdesk support, assists with incoming calls and communications to the helpdesk.
  • Troubleshoots problems or issues via phone, email, as well as one-on-one, providing strong communication skills.
  • Peripheral support: hardware, software, including various in-house software applications.
  • Daily Microsoft Windows/Office support, maintain knowledge on current software applications utilized in the facility.
  • Connecting/disconnecting of resident cable TV hook-ups, rescanning/reprogramming of TVs.
  • Sends, receives, and manages department user agreements.
  • Creates, maintains, and distributes assigned system user login accounts, profiles, and passwords.
  • Provides technical support for IT-managed systems.
  • Assists with providing end-user telephone support for the on-premises phone system.
  • Must be available on-call and be available by cell phone.
  • Attend some meetings in the CIO’s absence.
  • Understands and implements HIPAA regulation requirements.
  • All other duties as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or GED and two years of relevant work experience. Must also possess knowledge of recent Microsoft Windows operating systems, x86/x64-based hardware, and other technology, including printers, phones, and fax machines. Strong verbal, written, and computer skills required.
