About the Role:
1. Project Planning & Execution
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with client requirements.
- Prepare detailed project schedules, resource plans, and budgets.
- Establish project execution strategy and implement project management processes and controls.
- Drive overall project delivery in line with contractual terms, design intent, and company standards.
2. Site Management & Coordination
- Lead and supervise all civil and structural works, ensuring compliance with drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, and vendors for seamless project execution.
- Monitor site progress against schedule, identify delays or bottlenecks, and initiate corrective actions.
- Conduct regular project review meetings and ensure timely reporting to management and clients.
3. Budgeting & Cost Control
- Prepare project budgets, cost forecasts, and cash flow plans.
- Review and certify contractor bills, variations, and claims.
- Ensure adherence to cost control measures and approval protocols.
- Evaluate value engineering options for cost optimization.
4. Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Implement and monitor project quality assurance and control procedures.
- Ensure strict adherence to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) policies and statutory norms.
- Conduct site audits, inspections, and safety toolbox meetings.
- Ensure timely closure of NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and quality observations.
5. Documentation & Reporting
- Oversee documentation including contracts, drawings, RFIs, MOMs, and progress reports.
- Prepare and present weekly/monthly project progress reports to senior management and clients.
- Maintain accurate project records for billing, certification, and close-out.
6. Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for the client and key stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Conduct progress review meetings and ensure alignment of all parties toward project milestones.
7. Project Close-out
- Oversee final inspections, snag closure, and handover documentation.
- Ensure completion of as-built drawings, warranties, and O&M manuals.
- Support in post-construction evaluation and lessons-learned documentation.
About You:
Key Skills:
- Strong leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent understanding of project planning, scheduling, and cost control techniques.
- Proficiency in MS Project / Primavera, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of contracts, tenders, and procurement procedures.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience working with multinational clients or PMC environments (e.g, CBRE, JLL).
- Knowledge of sustainability / green building certifications (LEED / IGBC).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (master’s degree in construction / project management preferred).
- 10–15 years of experience in civil construction and project management.
- Proven experience managing medium to large-scale commercial, industrial, or real estate projects.
- Sound knowledge of construction methodologies, structural works, finishing, and services coordination.
- Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
