Requirements

Candidates must have 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in complex enterprise environments and hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field. Proficiency in SQL and demonstrated ability to apply Agile methodologies to solve business problems are required.

Senior Business Analyst

At Roche, we offer a hybrid work model that combines flexibility with in-person collaboration. For now, we require our employees to be in our offices on average two days per week. Join our Partnering Digital Solutions team, a strategic group focused on delivering AI-enabled solutions and harnessing emerging technologies to advance the Pharma and DIA Partnering business. We are at the forefront of innovation, building scalable data platforms and AI-powered applications that streamline partnering operations, enhance decision-making, and unlock business value. This is a unique opportunity to partner with business leaders, data and AI teams, and software engineers to help shape the future of digital partnering at Roche.

The opportunity: 

  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across DIA Partnering and Corporate Business Development (CBD), applying systems thinking to recommend practical, scalable solutions.
  • Lead discovery workshops and business process analysis to define solution opportunities, conduct root cause analysis, and translate business needs into clear functional requirements and user stories.
  • Support the evolution of a portfolio of digital products, including deal operations platforms and AI-enabled applications, identifying cross-product dependencies to enhance user experience.
  • Partner with data engineers to define business rules, KPIs, and analytical use cases, leveraging data-driven insights to enable informed decision-making.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business and technical teams, facilitating alignment, managing requirements, and influencing decision-making through clear, data-driven recommendations.
  • Collaborate with product owners and engineering teams to prioritize initiatives, groom the backlog, support UAT, and ensure successful solution adoption.

Who you are:

  • 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in complex enterprise environments.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex business problems into scalable digital solutions using Agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in SQL to perform data analysis, ensuring the validation of business needs, troubleshooting complex problems, and providing insights for strategic decisions.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to influence across technical and business audiences.
  • Flexibility to attend occasional evening meetings to collaborate across European and US markets. 
  • Nice to have: Experience with data platforms, AI-enabled applications, and pharmaceutical/life sciences business domains.

Compensation & Benefits

The expected salary range for this position, based on the primary location of Warsaw Grafit is 228’900.00 PLN - 425’100.00 PLN. Final compensation will be determined by a number of factors, including your skills, experience, qualifications, and location. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus with a target of 20% subject to both individual and company performance.
