Job Description: This job is responsible for developing and delivering data solutions to accomplish technology and business goals and initiatives. Key responsibilities include performing code design and delivery tasks associated with the integration, cleaning, transformation, and control of data in operational and analytical data systems. Job expectations include working with stakeholders and Product and Software Engineering teams to aid with implementing data requirements, analyzing performance, and researching and troubleshooting data problems within system engineering domains.
We are seeking an innovative, results-oriented .NET / Angular / SQL Front-End Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and maintain an enterprise-scale Data Discovery, Classification, Protection, and Privacy Platform. This role is critical to enabling secure, governed, and scalable data management capabilities that support the organization's data protection, compliance, privacy, and regulatory objectives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building modern, highly responsive, resilient, and secure applications that empower business users to discover, classify, protect, and manage sensitive data across the enterprise. Working closely with product owners, architects, security teams, and business stakeholders, this individual will develop solutions that enhance productivity, automate data governance processes, and enable data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Works across development teams to contribute to the story refinement and delivery of data requirements through the delivery life cycle
- Leverages architecture components in solution development, codes solutions to integrate, clean, transform, and control data in operational and analytical data systems per acceptance criteria
- Builds processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, data quality controls, dependency, and workload management and defines and builds data pipelines and complex data sets to enable data-informed decision making, identifying and raising risks at all stages of the data engineering process
- Develops and executes test plans to produce quantitative results, contributes to existing test suites including integration, regression, and performance, analyzes test reports, identifies test issues and errors, and triages underlying causes
- Drives complex information technology projects to ensure on-time delivery and adheres to team delivery and release processes
- Identifies, defines, and documents data engineering requirements, communicating required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality
- Works with technology partners and a diverse set of stakeholders to identify and close gaps in data management standards adherence, negotiates paths forward, and helps identify and communicate solutions to complex data problems leveraging knowledge of information systems, techniques, and processes
- Design and develop scalable front-end applications using Angular, integrated with .NET-based APIs and services.
- Build intuitive user experiences that simplify enterprise data discovery, classification, privacy, and protection workflows.
- Develop secure, high-performing, and resilient solutions leveraging C#, .NET, Angular, SQL Server, and modern web technologies.
- Collaborate with architects and security teams to ensure solutions adhere to enterprise security, privacy, and data governance standards.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, accessibility, and reliability for large-scale enterprise deployments.
- Implement reusable UI components, dashboards, and reporting capabilities that provide actionable insights into data protection and compliance posture.
- Support audit, risk, compliance, and regulatory examination readiness through robust governance and reporting capabilities.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Drive continuous improvement through automation, DevSecOps practices, and modern engineering standards.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Angular, .NET Core/.NET Framework, C#, and SQL Server.
- Proven expertise in designing and developing enterprise-scale web applications.
- Experience developing secure applications within regulated environments.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud-native development practices.
- Knowledge of data governance, privacy, data classification, and information protection concepts.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, source control, automated testing, and Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
