Requirements

Candidates must hold a university degree in Engineering or Business and possess a PMP-P certification. A minimum of 8 years of experience in managing large-scale projects is required, along with English fluency and strong leadership capabilities.

Full description

Role Profile:

  • Manage large Customer projects or workpackage of very large project (Category A projects including more software, more services and more sustainability, with organisational and technical complexity, multi-business, high level of risk, complex contractual context...) following applicable company polices and processes (main one being CPP: Customer Project Process).
  • Lead functionally the project team (<10 people) to insure full customer satisfaction and financial performance.
  • Manage the relationship with the customer and third parties within project scope and accountable for the execution of the project in line with the contract.
  • Contribute to project managers community of practice.
  • Act as sales agent for OPEX service portfolio.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Set an execution strategy at the start of the project and implement it throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Organize & manage the project team and suppliers. Monitor their progress in line with Project plan (scope, schedule and budget) till completion.
  • Insure effective communication within the team for best team coordination and motivation.
  • Protect Schneider Electric interests within the frame of the contract untill the end of contractual obligations.
  • Monitor, control & report project execution status, progress & KPIs. Ensure full & effective reporting to management (reports, project reviews, risk escalation reviews…).
  • Alert the management about project events impacting project performance or compliance with governance principles and keep the leadership on the actions related to them.
  • Perform on regular basis risk and opportunity assessment and implement action plan to mitigate risks and maximise opportunities.
  • Develop customer intimacy (including end-user if applicable), drive all communication with customer.
  • Insure highest level of customer satisfaction throughout the lifecycle of the project to prepare ground for future business.
  • Strategic approach to capture additional business for our company directly or not related to the program especially linked to digital and Service as per Company vision.
  • System oriented mindset (Power, automation)
  • Take full accountability and control over project profitability (sales, margin & cash) including forecasting. Ensure timely revenue recognition as per forecast.
  • Implement profitability improvement actions. Satisfy entity and country expectations on sales, margin and cash collection.
  • Ensure project team and suppliers are executing the project in full compliance with Schneider-Electric processes, quality instructions and governance principles.
  • Take all necessary actions to correct any deviations or quality issues occurring during project execution.
  • Work closely with Service teams; identify, develop and address additional Service CAPEX and OPEX opportunities including cybersecurity services.
  • Contribute to PM Community of Practice within his Execution Center and globally within Execution Center network.
  • Identify, formalise, share and promote lessons learned and best practices.
  • Strong monitoring of HSE policy to all team members and sub-contractors especially for site activities and travels
  • Manage Cybersecurity risk and actions linked to cybersecurity with all team members and customers/suppliers/service providers/sub-contractors.

Job Requirements:

  • University Degree (Engineering and/or Business).
  • University Master Degree is a plus.
  • PMP-P certificate.
  • English fluency is a must.
  • Minimum 8 years in managing a cat-A/B project or sub-project.
  • Experience in managing equipment or transactional orders is a plus.
  • Cross functional and cross border experience is a plus.
  • Ready to be located close to customer decision makers and show flexibility to adjust project evolution.
  • Strong communication skills, effective in a cross cultural environment to foster collaboration toward a common goal.
  • Proven leadership skills in project context focusing despite stress and headwinds on business objectives.
  • Ability to understand, influence & convince in a complex matrix organisation, use strong internal and external networking to develop additional business.
  • Good digital background, awarness of ecostruxure taylored solution to customer and able to act as best sales agent.
  • At ease with new integrated digital tools for better work efficiency.
