Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee complex commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, contract negotiations and client relationships while delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget,
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects.
· Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and work plans.
· Coordinate and communicate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
· Oversee contract administration, including RFPs, bid analysis, and change orders.
· Monitor project progress and performance, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.
· Ensure compliance with local codes, building regulations, and safety standards.
· Review construction documents and shop drawings for accuracy and feasibility.
· Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality and schedule adherence.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
· Maintain detailed documentation, including daily reports, meeting minutes, and close-out packages.
Position Requirements:
· 5–10 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
· Proven experience managing commercial projects valued from $1M–$50M+.
· In-depth knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
· Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, P6, Autodesk, Bluebeam).
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction documents.
· OSHA 30 certification required.
· PMP or CCM certification is a plus.
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
· Financial and contractual acumen.
· Collaborative, team-first mindset with strong client-service orientation.
Position Terms / Expected Hours of Work:
Salaried employees are expected to work a minimum of 40 hours per week during a busy season in some cases this position will require work on evenings, weekends, and holidays.
