What they look for

Salesforce Administration Sales Cloud Lightning Experience Certinia Professional Services Automation Declarative Toolset Flow Builder Permission Sets Reporting Dashboards Release Management Data Loading SOQL Marketing Cloud Account Engagement Documentation Project Scoping

Requirements

Candidates must have three to five years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator with a strong command of the declarative toolset and permission management. Professional services industry experience and Salesforce certifications are strongly preferred.

Full description

The primary responsibilities will include:

  • Platform administration and security
  • Certinia PSA and ERP support
  • Release and environment management
  • Reporting and enablement
  • Request intake and partner management

What we are looking for

  • Three to five years as a Salesforce Administrator. Sales Cloud and Lightning Experience. You have owned an org, not just worked tickets in one.
  • Professional Services Experience supporting a professional services firm, and ideally an accounting or advisory firm. Hands-on experience with a professional services automation platform — Certinia, Kantata, Kimble, or TaskRay. Certinia specifically is a significant advantage
  • Real command of the declarative toolset. You can build a multi-step approval process or a record-triggered flow without help, and you can debug someone else's flow without rebuilding it.
  • Permissions fluency. You think in permission sets and permission set groups, and you understand why profile-based access becomes unmanageable.
  • Reporting depth. Report types, custom report types, joined reports, and dashboards — including knowing when a report is the wrong answer.
  • Release discipline. You have been through release cycles on a managed package and you test before you deploy.
  • Judgment about scope. You can tell the difference between a fifteen-minute configuration change and a three-week project, and you say so before committing to a date.
  • Written clarity. This role is remote and is the only person in the seat. Documentation and written scopes are the job, not overhead.

Strongly preferred

  • Salesforce Administrator certification; Advanced Administrator or Platform App Builder is a plus.
  • Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) administration.
  • Comfort with data loading tools such as Data Loader or Coefficient, and with SOQL for investigation.

This position has the opportunity for tremendous growth within the firm. Beyond administration we would like this role to grow as we  transition toward headless operations with Salesforce data.
