Responsibilities
Job Summary The Financial Analyst (Contracts Liaison) serves as the primary operational bridge between the Finance, Accounting, and Contracts departments. You will support the financial lifecycle of client agreements, ensuring contract terms align with billing setups, labor and food cost models, and budget targets. You will ensure that pricing schedules, cost-reimbursement terms, and financial guarantees are correctly accounted for and performing as budgeted.
Key Responsibilities
- Contractual P&L Review: Analyze monthly account-level P&Ls against active contract metrics, tracking food, labor, and supply variances to ensure billing and profitability align with contractual expectations.
- Contract & Financial Onboarding: Review executed agreements, renewals, and amendments to accurately translate financial structures into reporting templates.
- Variance & Scope Analysis: Identify financial discrepancies between contractually agreed terms and actual P&L performance, flagging potential scope creep or unbilled/overbilled pass-through expenses.
- Contracts & Finance Coordination: Act as the main day-to-day financial touchpoint for the Contracts team, assisting with financial metric verifications during contract revisions or price adjustments.
- Reconciliation & Audit Support: Reconcile monthly account revenues and contractual fee calculations against contract documentation to support internal audits and financial reporting.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- Experience 1–3 years in financial analysis, P&L review, or contract finance.
- Industry Background Experience in contract services, corporate hospitality, or multi-site service
- operations preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, Pivot Tables,
- VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) and ERP/financial reporting systems.
- Core Competencies: P&L comprehension, high attention to detail, and ability to interpret financial terms within contractual agreements.
