Job Description
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
In this role, you’ll lead projects in the Legal business domain from requirements engineering through go-live and operational handover. Throughout delivery, you’ll manage scope, risks, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder alignment while applying agile and PMI-based project management practices. By providing technical leadership and guidance, you’ll ensure that projects progress efficiently and deliver sustainable business value.
REQUIREMENTS ENGINEERING & SOLUTION DESIGN
You’ll analyse business needs and translate them into scalable, fit-for-purpose technical solutions. Working closely with stakeholders, you’ll facilitate workshops, support data-driven decision-making, and ensure that proposed solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards.
SERVICE & SYSTEM OWNERSHIP
As a Senior Project & Applications Manager you’ll take ownership of business-critical applications and services, continuously improving their functionality, reliability, and value for the business. Through proactive service management, you’ll safeguard stability, quality, performance, and user satisfaction while maintaining high-quality documentation and adhering to governance standards.
WORKING WITH AI & DIGITAL INNOVATION
You’ll leverage AI to enhance processes, strengthen decision-making, and improve the user experience. In partnership with business stakeholders, you’ll integrate relevant AI capabilities into solutions and services, assess potential use cases and associated risks, and identify opportunities to create meaningful business value.
BUDGET & VENDOR MANAGEMENT
In this role, you’ll manage project and operational budgets responsibly, ensuring transparency and effective use of resources. By overseeing external partners and consultants, you’ll support successful delivery, maintain compliance with company standards, and ensure that investments generate measurable value.
Qualifications
University degree in Information Technology, Business Informatics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Fluency in English; German language skills are an advantage
At least three years of experience managing complex IT and business transformation initiatives
Solid technical expertise, with a good understanding of architectures, integrations, data flows, and enterprise applications
Background in requirements engineering, process modelling, and solution design
Familiarity with AI technologies, AI-assisted ways of working, and practical business use cases
Experience in the Legal domain, particularly Compliance Management / Data Privacy, is advantageous
Ability to translate business challenges into effective, scalable digital solutions
Knowledge of agile and PMI-based delivery methodologies, service ownership, continuous improvement, and vendor management
Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, combined with a structured, data-driven approach
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and workshop facilitation skills
Additional Information
Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2,362 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
