Responsibilities

Peraton seeks a Budget & Financial Mgmt Analyst to support DCDC with Department of the Army Systems Coordinator (DASC) acquisition staff officer support for AI / Cyber technology acquisition, integration, and future planning.

Location: Fort Meade, MD

Duties include:

  • Support financial management/budget execution/budget analysis in response to taskers, meetings, and deliverables
  • Provides POM analysis to support the programming phase of AI capabilities and future cyber operations planning. Provides acquisition support for the enabling of AI-driven command and control at Theater, Corps, and Division levels.
  • Integrates Acquisition / Capabilities adopting commercial technology, rapid fielding, flexible contracting, and iterative problem-solving rather than prescriptive requirement
  • Collect data, analyze, provide technical analysis, and prepare spreadsheets, logs, and presentations, as required to support of the Government’s Budget Execution and Program Formulation. Assist with planning goals and programming objectives, and providing senior leaders with assessments of program cost, schedule, risk, and performance. Coordinates actions such as reporting requirements and congressional budget briefs.
  • Liaison between the Army Acquisition Executive and program office.
  • Provide project management and technical support to assist the Government in planning, executing, and maintaining cyber capability, integration and implementation of and in compliance with DoD, Army and all other applicable rules, regulations, processes and procedures
  • Assist in draft preparation, based on Government guidance, of Government planned Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs) and Purchase Request & Commitments (PR&Cs) as needed

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D. Will consider Associate +14 or HS +16 years of experience.
  • Experience with Program Objective Memorandum (POM) cycle
  • Experience with General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) and Resource Management Online (RMOnline) systems to generate reports and input approved Spend Plans and Program Objective Management (POM) information into these systems.
  • Able to support the construct of the Budget Estimate Submission (BES) to OSD, CAPE, and the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for the FYDP updated POM Review
  • Experience with the Department of Defense’s Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process.
  • Must have knowledge and understanding of Government’s Budget Execution and Program Formulation, MIPRs, PR&Cs, and use of Operation and Maintenance (O&M), Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E), and Procurement appropriations
  • Active TS with ability to obtain/maintain SCI clearance
  • US Citizenship is required.

  • Comptroller experience
  • AI/Cyber military background
  • Army War College

Target Salary Range

$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. EEO
