Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced TCMS Control Engineering professional to lead the TCMS control domain for railway and metro rolling stock projects. The role involves control architecture, vehicle control logic, system integration, validation, safety compliance, and technical team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead TCMS control architecture, software requirements, and vehicle control logic.
  • Define control functions covering propulsion, braking, doors, HVAC, PIS, auxiliaries, and safety systems.
  • Develop standardized control concepts and reusable software modules.
  • Manage interfaces with propulsion, braking, doors, HVAC, passenger information, and communication systems.
  • Lead train-level integration, troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning.
  • Define validation strategies and support SIL/HIL, static, dynamic, and integration testing.
  • Drive change and configuration management and ensure timely project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with IEC 61375, EN 50128, EN 50155, and EN 50129.
  • Support functional safety, hazard analysis, safety requirements, and safety case activities.
  • Implement cybersecurity requirements within TCMS applications.
  • Lead and mentor engineering teams, allocate resources, and drive competency development.
  • Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams on technical reviews and project delivery.
  • Support tender engineering and effort estimation across multiple projects.

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in railway / metro rolling stock engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in TCMS control or vehicle control software.
  • Experience leading engineering teams or technical domains.
  • Strong knowledge of TCMS control architecture, system engineering, and requirements management.
  • Experience with vehicle communication networks and train-level integration.
  • Knowledge of functional safety standards EN 50128 / EN 50129.
  • Train integration and commissioning experience preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management, technical leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work across multiple projects and cross-functional teams.
