Are you ready to play a pivotal role in funding the renewable energy projects that will help shape the UK's net zero future? As a Senior Treasury and Project Finance Analyst, you'll help transform the treasury and project finance function, manage lender relationships, and support the growth of one of the UK's most diverse renewable energy portfolios.

At EDF power solutions, we’re delivering an Electric UK and Ireland.

Your expertise in treasury and project finance will support our ambitious journey from 2GW to 10GW of renewable generation by 2035. You'll help secure and manage the funding that enables new wind, solar and battery storage projects while strengthening the financial foundations of our growing business.

The Opportunity

You'll take a leading role in managing structured project finance activities, treasury operations, and ensuring alignment with governance frameworks, compliance with project finance agreements, monitoring financial covenants, and managing associated risks across our UK and Ireland portfolio. You'll act as a trusted business partner, working closely with senior stakeholders while helping to deliver strategic growth objectives.

Alongside a competitive salary and potential for an annual bonus, you'll join a team working from offices in #Durham (preferable), #London, #Edinburgh and #Cardiff. We work flexibly around business needs, with regular attendance at one of our offices.

You’ll lead and drive treasury transformation initiatives, focusing on automation and standardising processes to improve organisational efficiency and governance. With responsibility for supporting key funding activities and managing important external relationships, you'll have a direct impact on the success of renewable energy projects across the business.

Who You Are

We're looking for a Senior Treasury and Project Finance Analyst who combines strong technical expertise with a proactive and collaborative approach. You'll be confident working with lenders, managing complex funding arrangements, interpreting financial models, and supporting sound financial governance. To be shortlisted, you need to offer…

  • ACT, CFA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or an equivalent professional qualification
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior treasury or project finance role
  • Strong experience managing funding structures, treasury risk management, compliance requirements, and financial governance activities
  • Experience in project finance, including debt facilities, financial structuring, covenant compliance, and interpretation of financial model outputs such as IRR, DSCR, and NPV
  • Good financial accounting knowledge, with the ability to apply accounting policies, processes, and systems in a practical business environment
  • Experience gained within the renewable energy sector is desirable
  • Experience with treasury management systems and tools, including driving transformation through process automation and system/ tool enhancements, will be advantageous.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading and overseeing structured project finance activities across the business
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for lenders and maintaining strong banking relationships
  • Managing compliance with project finance agreements, financial covenants, and reporting obligations with the support of the Project Finance Analyst
  • Taking ownership of group-wide cashflow forecasting, ensuring robust outputs from business units and providing consolidated funding requirements to senior stakeholders, including the CFO with the support of the treasury analyst Monitoring liquidity and supporting effective cash management across the organisation
  • Responding to treasury and financing queries from auditors and other stakeholders
  • Support and oversee hedging activities within the group, including interest rate and foreign currency risk management
  • Identifying and mitigating financial risks associated with project finance arrangements
  • Driving improvements, standardisation, and automation across treasury processes
  • Supporting treasury governance, compliance, and financial control activities
  • Line managing, coaching and supporting Treasury and Project Finance Analysts within the team
