Job Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and insightful Data Analyst to join our team in Fresno, California. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in helping IOK make informed, data-driven decisions. You will be responsible for analysing data across our various programmes and services to identify trends, measure effectiveness, and provide actionable insights that will help shape the future of our educational offerings and community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and interpret complex data sets from various sources, including student information systems, online platforms, and event feedback.
  • Analyse trends related to student enrolment, academic performance, and programme participation.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualisations to communicate findings to stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Identify opportunities for improving our educational programmes and operational efficiency through data analysis.
  • Collaborate with academic and administrative teams to understand their data requirements and provide analytical support.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of our data through regular validation and quality control processes.
  • Present analytical findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and statistical software (e.g., Python, R, SPSS) and database languages (e.g., SQL).
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data to non-technical audiences.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Economics is preferred.
